Victor Hugo for New philosopher Mag

Final illustrations for New Philosopher magazine. A mag with really interesting articles and very cleverly written! Makes you think about things from a whole new perspective. Here I made one with shading and one without, I can't decide which one I like more.

This week

This week I've been working on my portrait of Victor Hugo for New philosopher Magazine and a partridge in a pear tree. As you can see, I've been practicing my type for a Hugo quote and developing my pear tree for xmas cards. 

Selected for London Illustration Fair

Linocut mountain

After developing some new work, I now have to tackle the actual linocutting, this is the part I enjoy the most, although I have to say the amount is a little daunting.
