Winter Landscape

Here's one for the winter season, I've been working on introducing colour to my linocuts recently, there's not loads in this one I know but it is winter, come on! This is a two block print, matching them up was a pain in the ass but I managed it in the end. I can see the finer points of using reduction printing now.

Recent Publication - Delayed Gratification

Work in Development part 2

I've been working on a new project recently illustrating some of my favourite poems, my recent one has been about E. E. Cumming's "it is moments after I have dreamed". Here are a few progress pictures for you, just trying to get the atmosphere right. Hopefully have a Linocut done in a day or so and then I'll start work on John Keats "Ode to a Nightingale" cos you cant go wrong with a few of the classics.

Work in development part 1

Linocuts on the way - portraits on two of my favourite female authors, Angela Carter (left) and Margaret Atwood (right). I'll print these some time over the next month when I have more lino's to print at the studio. Can't wait till I have a printing press of my own.

Some Current work

A little illustration montage about not being allowed to dance in night clubs in Japan. Apparently it is illegal to let people dance in your nightclub in japan without strict regulations and checks by police. This ones coming out soon more info about it later.
