Colour layer for Horniman Museum

For ages now I've been meaning to experiment with the colour on my Horniman Print, so here it is. And now I need to experiment with the top layer 

Autumn poppies

This is how its looking. I think I'll have a look at the background colour and see how a red might work out.

After a few unfortunate slip ups with cutting, the autumn poppies looking like they might come out ok after all.

After the start of Autumn and the change in the weather I started on a new piece inspired by the poppy and September/October time in general. I've been trying to channel the spirits of John Nash, Edward Bawden and Eric Ravillious: the big names in the linocut game. I'm totally in love with these pieces
